Here's your chance to work with your puppy to earn the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy distinction! AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program is the AKC program designed to get puppies and their owners off to a great start. All dogs need the necessary components of the program including Socialization, Training, Activity, and a Responsible owner. We will continue training and prevention of the most common puppy behaviors, such as housebreaking, crate training, play bite and dominance, socialization with people and other dogs, and proper nutrition We will learn exercises to prepare your puppy for success in all they do with you and for further advanced training. Gives puppies a firm foundation in behavior and socialization by continuing to work on healthy socialization with other dogs and people, and will expand their horizons by adding different sizes and ages of dogs and more environmental changes. There will be a test during the final class - all those that pass will earn AKC's S.T.A.R. Puppy Award!
